Trying to replicate its sound with computer presets might get you close. From the distorted texture to its age-old circuitry, there’s just nothing quite like it. ![]() The sounds produced by a vintage MPC are intricate. And lately there’s been no doubt in my mind that the new wave of retro sound is all about vintage analog devices.
